BGBG is an iPhone app for adding backgrounds and breathing room to screenshots and photos. Import an image, choose your background, adjust the frame, and export a PNG.
Can I download it yet?
BGBG is coming soon for iPhone. The App Store link will appear here when it is available. It requires iOS 18.6 or later.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
BGBG edits images and saves projects on your device. There is no BGBG account, image-upload service, or cloud project sync. An image stored in iCloud may need to download when you import it.
What can I export?
Export a PNG with a 4096-pixel longest edge. The other edge follows your chosen canvas ratio. Save to Photos or use the iOS share sheet to send it to another app or save to Files. Small source images may be enlarged.
Can I blur part of a screenshot?
The Blur tool lets you pixelate rectangular areas with an adjustable block size. Separately, background blur softens the backdrop while keeping the foreground image sharp.
Can I come back to a project?
Yes. Projects save automatically on this device. Reopen, rename, or duplicate a composition from your gallery. Deleting a project does not delete images you already exported.
